Douglas Drive Senior Citizens Association

20 Apr 2017

Douglas Drive Senior Citizens Association has vacancies for Trustees to help run this small charity and local day centre for the residents of Stevenage and surrounding villages. The association gives older people a nice, safe place to meet others, helping to ensure they are not isolated. It can also prolong their ability to remain independent in the community and often gives their carers’ a well-earned break.

The group’s management committee is looking for volunteer Trustees. It meets every five or six weeks, on a Tuesday at 2.15pm, for approximately an hour and a half. They are also looking for help to sustain the service, if people can donate money or other items, throughout the year.
