All new applications and variations to existing Premises and Club Licences are subject to a 28 day consultation period. During this time, various statutory bodies are consulted, details of these are available via the link below:

Representations either in favour or objecting to a licence application must clearly relate to one or more of the four licensing objectives. These are;

  • The prevention of crime and disorder
  • Public safety
  • The prevention of public nuisance
  • The protection of children from harm.

A copy of the application(s) for the grant of the above licence(s) is kept by the licensing authority at the above address. The application(s) can be viewed Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm, except bank holidays.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for making a false statement is a level 5 fine on the standard scale.
