Grants for Talented Young People

The Talented Young People grant scheme is designed to recognise and reward the achievements of young people in Stevenage in various Sporting and Artistic disciplines.

Following a review of the Talented Young People scheme, the new application form and guidance notes are now available to download.

There are some changes that applicants should be aware of

• The age limit has now been changed to 8 – 18 years
• Sports Applications and Arts Applications now have separate application forms. Please ensure that you print off and complete the correct form for your activity.
• Anyone who has received a grant for either sports or arts in the last 2 years must complete section B of their application form. If this section is not completed the application will not be accepted.
• Any applicant must be county level or above in Sport or high performing in the Arts
• There is no longer set amounts for county, regional and national level performers. This will be at the panels discretion.
• Anyone completing the Sports application form should refer to the guidance notes to ensure the application form is completed correctly.

The applications must be returned and received postmarked by 12 NOON on MONDAY 16TH MARCH 2009 . Any applications received after this date will not be accepted.
