  • Activities for older people

    Provision of leisure activities for older people within the community. This may include cultural, sporting and other organised social activities.

  • Fishing

    As an angler it is most important for you to know that anyone aged 12 years or over who fishes for salmon, trout, freshwater fish or eels in England and Wales must have an Environment Agency Rod Fishing Licence.

  • General Information and Booking

    Stevenage's Sports and Leisure facilities are managed by Stevenage Leisure Limited on behalf of the Council.

  • Grants for Talented Young People

    This is a talent fund for young people aged between 5 and 25.

  • Leisure Passes

    Passes which give access to leisure facilities such as swimming pools, gymnasiums and sports halls run by the local authority.

  • Municipal Golf Courses

    There is one main golf centre in Stevenage, at Aston Lane which is managed on behalf of the Council by Stevenage Leisure Limited. Members of the public are able to "pay and play" on the course or to book tee times in advance. The golf course also has a membership scheme.

    Details on any venues the local authority may have available for private/business hire including the location, size, facilities available, cost and how to book.

    Information and booking facilities for sports facilities owned and managed by the local authority (or on their behalf) which are available for hire to local residents, businesses and sports clubs.
