Play Service
The Council is proud of its services for children. It recognises the important benefits which play has for children and for family life.
We run 3 neighbourhood play centres throughout the year and various holiday park playschemes. Children aged between 5 and 14 years of age can attend the playschemes and play centres throughout the town. The service is free of charge and children can come and go as they please.
Many of our Play Centres also run parent & toddler groups during the day.
