Are you a comics fan?

Stevenage Museum is planning an exhibition celebrating comic book superheroes for summer 2009.

The exhibition will look at the history of comic book superheroes, how comic book art is influenced by different traditions around the world and have lots of hands on activities for families as well as a great programme of talks and events over the summer months.

Museum staff are hoping to display local people’s collections and can promise secure, alarmed display cases for valuable and/or much loved items.  The exhibition opens on Saturday 4 July and closes on 26 September.

The Museum has teamed up with Limited Edition Comix in Market Place who are kindly offering anyone who can help the Museum a 10% discount if you get in touch before the end of March
