Patchwork Quilt Making
Tuesday 7 and Wednesday 8 October
10.00am to 12.00noon and 12.45pm to 2.45pm
Patchworking is a wonderful way of using reusing and rejuvenating fabrics of personal value to make something new, such as a patchwork quilt or cushion cover. Learn more about the craft on this two day course. Both beginners and experienced practitioners welcome.
Lizzie Reakes is a local practising textile designer and tutor. Her work has sold and exhibited worldwide. She has contributed to several craft books and appeared on TV.
You are encouraged to bring with you some fabrics of sentimental value, for example children’s clothes. Contact the museum for a small materials list.
