Public health - housing
Providing advice and information to the public on all aspects of public health relating to housing. Enforcement of public health and housing regulations.
The aim of the service is to ensure that comprehensive housing and public health advice is delivered to all residents and property owners of the Borough, as well as the enforcement of public health and housing legislation where appropriate.
Action can be taken in respect of a wide range of issues which can affect the health of the occupants, for example severe dampness or disrepair.
