Frequently asked questions

Warm Homes for Life strategy 2015-2018

At Stevenage Borough Council, we are committed to ensuring that our residents’ homes are warm, well insulated, energy efficient and environmentally sustainable.

This strategy sets out how we will minimise the negative and maximise the positive impact we will have on the environment over the coming years. It covers the period 2015 to 2018 but our strategic thinking extends well beyond this to ensure that we both meet and exceed statutory environmental targets. The strategy will be reviewed and updated annually to take account of changes in legislation and good practice.

The strategy sets out what we will achieve over the next three years through a series of strategic aims and objectives. The tasks and targets to make it happen are set out in a separate three year action plan.
