Stevenage Careline Alarm Service

An emergence response service attending your emergency 24/7, 365 days a year. This unique service provides peace of mind and support to anyone who feels at risk for any reason.

Tenancy Support

Our tenancy support team provides support to residents in temporary or emergency accommodation offering debt and money management advice, they work with many different support agencies to get you the help and support you need.

Community Support

Bringing the support provided in Independent Living schemes to council tenants living in their own homes in the community with regular contact and support from our supported housing officers. This service is for anyone over the age of 55 who needs short or long term support.

Independent Living

We have a number of Independent Living schemes across the town, two of which are Flexicare, providing extra care and support. Independent living offers you your own self-contained accommodation, with the reassurance of an experienced supporting housing officer on hand to offer help, support and advice alongside emergency assistance as and when required.

Flexicare Schemes

We have two Flexicare schemes in Stevenage, Silkin Court & Fred Millard Court. Flexicare is independent living accommodation with a care team based on site to give you the extra care and support when you need it.

Temporary and Emergency Accommodation

Supporting you to live in temporary and emergency accommodation

The Tenancy Support team manage the council’s temporary and emergency accommodation. There are two types of homeless accommodation, stage one or emergency accommodation, and stage two or second stage accommodation.
