Foster Care Fortnight is a national awareness campaign that takes place between the 12 and 25 May to raise the profile of foster care, in order to recruit more much needed carers.
Ordinary people doing something extraordinary!
Foster carers may be ordinary people, but they’re doing something extraordinary. Every day they’re helping children and young people turn their lives around.
Sometimes it’s the ordinary things like being a good listener, having a sense of humour or just being there to give a reassuring hug that can make all the difference.
If you’re up for a challenge we’d really like to hear from you.
