Health Shuttle

The Health Shuttle is a door to door chargeable transport service to and from the Lister Hospital - covering Stevenage, Hitchin, Letchworth, Baldock and surrounding areas Mondays to Fridays (except public holidays).

Anyone can use the service, just telephone 01438 726219 to book your seat but remember to tell the advisor if you have any special requirements, for example, a wheelchair.

There is a single fare of £4.00 payable to the driver or at the Health Shuttle desk at the hospital (patients on a low income may be able to claim this back from the cash office).

It also offers a link between the Lister and QEII hospitals, Monday to Thursdays only (again except public holidays).

The Health Shuttle forms part of the Herts Travellink initiative which has been developed through the Hertfordshire Integrated Transport Partnership (HITP) - a unique partnership of some 60 stakeholders, including: Hertfordshire County Council, the county's ten district councils, many voluntary sector organisations, and local NHS trusts.
