Safer Food, Better Business

From 1 January 2006, food businesses must have a written Food Safety Management System.

The Food Standards Agency has developed a pack called Safer Food, Better Business, which will help you comply with the Law. Using this pack will save you having to write your own system. It is jargon free - and easy to use.

Initially, the scheme is for small caterers, who are not part of a larger chain.
 
If your business is in Hertfordshire or Bedfordshire, and you are selected for the scheme,  you will be invited to a FREE training Course during 2006. On the Course, you will be shown how to use the pack and go away with it partially completed. It should take you less than four hours to fill in the pack, and about a minute to complete the daily records.
