The Council is responsible for the removal of illegally posted advertisements, leaflets etc. on council property in the area.
The Council provides information on how to report instances of unauthorised advertising (flyposting). Flyposting can be removed by arrangement from private property and agreement to meet any service costs.

Flyposting is the display of advertising material on buildings and street furniture without the consent of the owner occupier. Flyposting is an illegal, anti-social activity that creates a negative impression of an area and contributes to people’s fear of crime.
