Work Experience

A valuable insight into the world of work and an opportunity to gain practical experience.

Working closely with schools and the local community we are able to offer a range of work experience to suit the individual.  Work experience provides a valuable insight into the world of work and the opportunity to gain practical experience broadening future employment possibilities. 

We offer details of opportunities for schools via the Careers service which then get passed on to the appropriate Careers Officer at the school.  Pupils should ask their Careers Officer for further details of the latest placements on offer.

We also have close links with local colleges, training organisations and Government and community projects and schemes and endeavour to help individuals whenever possible.  Places are limited and regrettably we are unable to satisfy all requests however please contact the Recruitment Section should you require further information at humanresources@stevenage.gov.uk or telephone our 24 hour answering service on 01438 242079.
