Training Opportunities
As a nationally recognised Investor in People, Stevenage Borough Council is committed to the training and development of all employees.
This begins with a corporate induction course shortly after joining, and for those going the full distance, ends with a pre-retirement programme!
In between, the opportunities are many and varied including competence development over a range of topics such as project management, National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs), supervisory/team leading/managerial courses, college/university courses, IT training and even non-vocational interest courses including such diverse areas as languages, cookery, photography etc.
