Licence - theatre
Any premises which are to be used for the public performance of a play, whether for payment or not, must hold a premises licence or have a temporary event licence.
Premises conducting public performances of stageplays must be licensed. Stageplays include any dramatic piece, which involves speech, singing or action and involves the playing of a role.
