Entertainment Licences

Any premises that offer public entertainment or sell alcohol will require a licence.

  • Entertainments licensing

    This has now been replaced by The Licensing Act 2003 (see link below)

  • Licence - cinema

    This has now been replaced by the Premises Licence under the Licensing Act 2003 (See link below).

  • Licence - liquor

    The Licensing Act 2003 amalgamated six existing licensing regimes covering the sale and supply of alcohol, the provision of regulated entertainment, the provision of late night refreshment and replaces them with a single system of premises licences. Personal and Premises Licenses are now required.

  • Licence - private club - late hours

    This has now been replaced by the Premises Licence under the Licensing Act 2003. (see link below)

  • Licence - public entertainment

    This has been replaced by the Premises Licence under the Licensing Act 2003 (see link below).

  • Licence - theatre

    Any premises which are to be used for the public performance of a play, whether for payment or not, must hold a premises licence or have a temporary event licence.
