Health and safety at work - advice
The Council is responsible for carrying out routine inspections of commercial premises to ensure health and safety practices at work.
The Council's environmental health division is responsible for enforcing the Health and Safety at Work Act in offices, shops, warehouses, catering premises, residential accommodation, leisure and consumer services, to protect the safety and welfare of employers and the public.
