Small land sales

Please note that due to an increase in demand for the service there is approximately a 10 month waiting list and therefore enquiries are being placed ‘on hold’ and will be dealt with in date order.

The council tries to take a flexible approach to meeting the needs of residents who want to buy land. This has to be balanced, however, against the priority of preserving amenity land throughout Stevenage, and the needs of other residents.

The section also deals with enquiries from people who want to cross over the council's land (for example to access a parking bay or garage in their garden) and from householders who require the release of restrictive covenants in order to extend their house.
